From an early dream of becoming a fashion designer, and since graduating from Liverpool John Moores University in 2008 with a BA Hons in Fashion Design; it is safe to say that Francesca's dream has come true. Only happy when creating clothes she decided that no other job would do… Miss Francesca Couture was born.
Starting off in a small office in her dad’s building yard back in 2009. Word quickly spread of Francesca's unique designs and before long, she had secured a loyal following from many of Liverpool’s most stylish fashionistas, and the hype continued. Showcasing her first collection in October of that year, in a fashion show dedicated to raising funds for The Lily Centre - a local breast cancer charity. The show was a huge success and was the springboard Francesca needed to establish herself amongst Liverpool’s more prominent fashion designers.
Due to the growing demand for her signature ultra feminine made to measure pieces, it was only a matter of time before Francesca had to move to more established premises. In the summer of 2010, Miss Francesca Couture opened its first store, a chic boutique with a workshop above, providing bespoke and ready-to-wear clothing to the glamorous girls of Liverpool.
Miss Francesca Couture has since gone from strength to strength and the label is now a favourite with trend-setting fashionistas all over the UK, and has become popular with style icons and celebrities wanting the WOW factor. Feminine, flirty, floaty, frivolous & fun is how I describe the signature look of Miss Francesca Couture, with quality being paramount and offered through beautiful detailing, extreme silhouettes and luxurious fabrics.
In 2012, Francesca along with 'Team Couture' launched Miss Francesca Couture label's first ready-to-wear collection. The collection of larger than life sequinned pieces, including the flamboyant 'tutu' dresses was a huge hit, and proved successful selling out in both ASOS and Selfridges, as well as a handful of exclusive, independant boutiques across the UK and Ireland.
2013 saw the brand taking the focus back to in-house design as Miss Francesca Couture opened her flagship store in Liverpool’s Metquarter and launched a new e-commerce website, providing a wider range of fashion, to our ever growing fan base across the UK and beyond.
2014 saw what Francesca proudly recalls as her biggest achievement to date- Becoming a mummy to her daughter Petra. The past year and a half has mostly been dedicated to her duties as a mother, with the Metquarter shop still running successfully thanks to a dedicated team.
The Brand has recently undergone a revival, with Francesca back and determined as ever to provide a more current and contemporary look for her ever growing fan base, while staying loyal to her signature style and passion for feminine designs, which are made using only top quality fabrics and finished to perfection by an in house team of expert machinists.
Francesca Couture and now Francesca Couture Bridal aim to continue to give customers the best experience when purchasing and wearing garments bearing the label, all designed and made in the UK studio and with the final stamp of approval from the designer herself.
